Our Workshop

Classic Sport Leicht Works

Our restoration workshop is located in the Defense area west of Paris, in the heart of the golden triangle of French Automobile history, a stone's throw from the old Delage, Delahaye and Hispano Suiza factories.

The Classic Sport Leicht workshop is a veritable Classic Mercedes treasure trove, which usually has a number of special 300 SL Gullwing and 300 SL Roadsters in residence benefitting from our care and attention. Some of these cars maybe discreetly for sale....We undertake all activities on these special cars, from research from our extensive libraries to servicing and mechanical repair work to full 3000 hour restoration projects on the most significant 300 SL models.

Extensive experience working with classic Mercedes Benz

Our intimate familiarity and expertise with the finest exceptional 300 SL's made has seen the following historic examples pass through the workshops:

  • The Mercedes Benz 300 SL ex Paul O'Shea winner of the 1956 SCCA American Championship
  • The Mercedes Benz 300 SL factory competition 'Sportabteilung' (1 of 4) ex Stirling Moss 1956 Tour de France participant
