Delivered new on the 12th of July 1955 to Mercedes-Benz Zurich, Switzerland
Purchase by M. Walter Castagno and first registered on the 7th of January 1957.
In 1985, with 103.675km performed, M. Castagno sent the car to the Stuttgart Untertürkheim Factory for a 2 years restoration/preservation work ( Paint, upholstery and technicals ), all documented.
The car has today 114.000km, with a little bit more than 10.000km since restoration.
It comes with its original books, including the service booklet, as well as the original import documents.
We did a service as the car was sitting for a long time without running.
Rebuilding the brakes, the radiator, water pipes and hoses, serviced and tuned the engine, checked and serviced the gearbox and rear axle, basically replaced the parts the car was in need of.
The car is ready to drive and show.
It comes with its belly pans, set of luggage, jack and "one owner " history.
A rarity for any advised collector.
